Telescopes
Telescopes collect light images and makes objects look closer than what they are. There are two types of telescopes refracting and reflecting. These instruments allow us to study far away celestial objects. Both telescopes have mirrors inside it to magnify to image seen in the eyepiece.

The advantages are that you get a clearer image which is useful to name and identify planets, Can be made to give greater magnification, and are smaller in size.
